Inspired by Fight Club – a name game warm-up.
ROBERT PAULSON – In turn around a circle, each player introduces him/herself to the class with a character based on their first name and a word sharing the same first letter as their first name. For example, “I’m Pistola Patrick” as I dance back and forth on my toes while shooting pistols into the air. Then everyone mirrors the character while all saying, “Our name is Pistola Patrick.”
Emotional Variation – Explicitly dictate that players use an Emotional adjective – and emotional physicality – in establishing their name.
